Ticket stub issued for Game 2 of the 1951 National League Playoffs between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants held at the Polo Grounds on October 2nd. Graded VG3 (MK) by PSA. This is the ONLY example of this ticket stub listed in the PSA Population Report. The "MK" designation is for a vintage ink notation written along the top border of the front that reads "Tues - Oct 2, 1951." The Dodgers won Game 2 of the playoffs 10-0 behind the pitching of Clem Labine and home runs by both Jackie Robinson and Gil Hodges. The win set up the third and final game the next day at the Polo Grounds that ended on Bobby Thomson's legendary "Shot Heard Round the World." The ticket measures 1.625x3.25 inches.
