Game used Paul O'Neill jersey from the 1994 season, his second full year with the New York Yankees. Road gray button front top has New York stitched across the chest in individual navy-on-white tackle twill letters, with his number 21 in same style on back. This jersey was actually prepped for that year's All Star Game but was not worn in the game as the patches were on the opposite sleeve, though it does show nice use from the regular season. Russell Athletic size 48 and "O'Neill 94" tags are on front tail, with Pittsburgh All-Star game patch on left sleeve and MLB 125th Anniversary patch on right (note that this patch has been replaced). O'Neill endeared himself to Yankees fans with an impressive league-leading .359 average in that '94 campaign and the Bronx Bombers were in first place when the infamous players' strike brought the season to an early end with no World Series being played.
