Long before the Montreal Expos moved south of the border to become the Washington Nationals in 2005, the original team playing in the Nation's Capital was the Washington Senators, who were in existence from 1901-1960. This lot contains 32 balls signed by members of the original DC contingent. Highlights include: two undated team-signed balls, Frank Howard, Harmon Killebrew, Rocky Bridges, Ellis Clary, Whitey Herzog, and dozens more. Most or all are on Official AL baseballs, some duplication is present. Baseballs generally present EX+ though some display toning and one of the team-signed balls shows age and some fading of signatures.
