Presented is a full ticket to the July 9, 1994, game at Fenway Park when the Seattle Mariners' Alex Rodriguez had his first Major League hit. "A-Rod" started the game at shortstop, batting ninth. In his first at bat of the game, facing Red Sox starter Sergio Valdez, Rodriguez reached first base on an infield error. Then, facing Valdez in the top of the fourth inning, Rodriguez recorded his first Major League hit, an infield single. In the eighth inning, Rodriguez added another single to finish the day at 2-for-4. Rodriguez finished his Major League career with 3,115 hits, ranking 21st on the all-time MLB hits list. He also had 696 home runs, a lifetime .295 batting average, and over 2,000 runs and 2,000 RBIs. Alex was a 3-time AL MVP, and a 14-time All-Star. He won 10 Silver Slugger Awards and two Gold Gloves. The box seat $50.00 ticket measures 2x5.5". The full ticket has been encapsulated and graded PSA NM 7, the HIGHEST GRADED, and its rarity makes it a nice keepsake from the game that included the first Major League hit from an all-time great MLB player.
