Original Type I photograph, together with four different original film negatives, picturing the enormous Elvis Presley cardboard sign sitting atop the marquee of the Paramount Theatre in New York City in 1956. The sign was erected as a publicity stunt to promote Elvis' first feature film, Love Me Tender, which premiered at the Paramount on November 15, 1956. Two Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse of the photo, along with a handwritten caption. The four negatives, one of which was used to print the offered photo, consist of two uncut strips of two, with each negative measuring 2.25x2.25". The photo (8x10") displays light creasing along the perimeter and is in Very Good to Excellent condition. The negatives, which are housed in the original paper sleeve remain in Excellent to Mint condition.
