Vintage photograph picturing Wall Street in New York, circa 1890. The famous thoroughfare is captured during the day, with just a few pedestrians seen on the sidewalks. Also clearly visible in this image are the statue of George Washington, which sits in front of Federal Hall, and Trinity Church. The photo (7x8.75") has been affixed to a heavy cardboard mount of equal dimensions. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with a few additional editorial notations. There is light corner wear in the lower left, including a tiny chip and paper tear, otherwise the photo is in Excellent condition overall. Because the photo his mounted, PSA will not accept it for evaluation; therefore no guarantee is made regarding Type designation. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
