Presented here is a unique offering of (4) different basketball sets produced by Topps in the 1970’s: ‘69/70 Topps Rulers (less Frazier), ‘71/72 Topps, ’71/72 Topps Stickers, and ‘72/73 Topps (less #173). The ‘69/70 Rulers set is NRMT to NM-MT and it features Lew Alcindor. The ‘71/72 Topps Stickers set averages EX-MT to NRMT and it features a trio with Alcindor (EX-MT). The ‘71/72 Topps set averages NRMT. It features a great group of stars including Chamberlain (NRMT), Alcindor (EX-MT), and Pistol Pete’s 2nd year (NM-MT)! Lastly, the ’72/73 Topps set averages NRMT and features Julius Erving’s rookie year (NRMT+). A great look back in to 1970’s basketball-what a different game!
