May 12th, 2003 was just a normal day for most Los Angeles Dodgers fans. There were no MLB records on the verge of being broken, no anticipated MLB Debuts and no reasons why anyone would have the hindsight to keep their ticket other than wanting to preserve a memory. However for one fan, Juan Catalan, this game ended up saving his life. In August of 2003, Juan was arrested for a murder he did not commit but found it nearly impossible to prove his alibi of being at a Dodgers game. Little did he know his saving grace was Episode 6 of the hit HBO sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm's fourth season, titled "The Car Pool Lane". In the episode, Larry David actually attended the Dodgers vs. Braves game on May 12th, sat in the stands with the general public, and filmed part of the episode. While filming one of the scenes, David just so happened to walk down the aisle of the section Catalan was sitting in, the video proof ended up exonerating Catalan from the murder charge and the story turned into a Netflix Documentary called "Long Shot". Here is a ticket to that very game on May 12th, and is one of only six graded by PSA! Graded EX-MT 6 and there is only one other in the world graded the same with none higher.
