1985 MLB All-Star Game ring manufactured by Balfour. The gold-tone celestrium ring features a red stone on the front bearing the MLB logo. The design of the bezel consists of representations of three "stars" on either side, with the top and bottom lettering reading, respectively, "All-Star" and "Game." One shank displays the year ("1985") and a crossed-bat-and-ball design that is engraved "American League All-Stars vs. National League All-Stars." The opposite shank features the 1985 All Star Game logo, below which is the name of the host city and venue: "Minneapolis Metrodome." The engraving on the interior bands displays the name of the manufacturer ("LCB") and the alloy composition ("GTC"). No recipient's name appears on the ring, so we do not know to whom the ring was presented (possibly a MLB or team executive, or a event-staff member). Excellent to Mint condition.
