1980 MLB All-Star Game ring issued to "Yastrzemski," as noted by the engraved name on the shank. While one might easily assume that this ring was issued to Carl Yastrzemski, we must note that he was not selected to play in the 1980 All-Star Game. Therefore, we cannot state with certainty to whom this ring was issued. That ambiguity aside, the ring is an official example identical to that given to other participants that year. The stainless steel ring, manufactured by Balfour, displays a blue stone on the front that incorporates a "star" design. The lettering around the bezel reads "Baseball All Star." One shank displays the engraved name "Yastrzemski," the Major League Baseball Logo, and an engraving that reads "Major League Baseball." The opposite shank features the 1980 All-Star Game logo, and an engraving that reads "American National." The name "Balfour" and the word "Stainless" are engraved on the interior band. Excellent to Mint condition. Size: approximately 10.75. Weight: 15 grams.
