** FAILED PSA **
Soft-ground etching on Japanese paper, titled "Family of Acrobats (Famille des Saltimbanques), signed by artist Pablo Picasso in orange crayon in the lower right corner. This is from an edition of 300 published by Crommelynck (Paris), circa 1950. Hand-numbered "201/300" in the lower left corner. The etching pictures a father (with a monkey tucked into his shirt), mother, sword-wielding son, daughter wearing a tutu, and their dog. This is an interesting Picasso work in that even though each person is looking in a different direction with dissimilar expressions on their faces, the familial bond is evident in the hand-holding between the young girl and her mother, and the boy's position of respect slightly behind his father. The print (18x21.75", visible dimensions) remains in apparent Excellent to Mint condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 33.5x40.5". Accompanied by a COA from The Great Dane Collection.
