Miguel Cabrera X Bat pro-model ("24") bat issued to Cabrera for use in the 2007 All Star Game. Graded GU 8 by PSA. The cupped-end bat, which measures 34 inches in length and weighs 31.9 ounce, is not cracked and displays moderate use. Several ball marks (with blue-ink transfers) and stitch marks are evident on the barrel, as is white paint (either from the batter's box or baseline) along the top rim. Cabrera's uniform number ("24") is stickered on the knob, while the bat's original weight ("32") is written in silver paint pen on the end of the barrel. According to PSA, visual evidence has confirmed that Cabrera used a different bat during his one plate appearance in the 2007 mid summer classic. Therefore, the ascribed use on the bat most likely occurred during pregame batting practice and/or regular-season games. Cabrera enjoyed another banner season in 2007, finishing the year with 34 home runs, 119 RBI, and a .320 batting average. One of the greatest hitters of the modern era and a member of baseball's elite 500 Home Run Club, Cabrera's Hall of Fame resume includes four batting titles, a home run title, and consecutive MVP Awards.
