Dave Winfield Rawlings pro-model ("DW20") bat dating from his final season in baseball with the Cleveland Indians in 1995. Both Winfield's name and team affiliation ("Indians") are stamped in white block lettering on the barrel. The bat, which is not cracked, measures 35.5 inches and weighs 32.75 ounces. Heavy use is displayed throughout, including numerous ball marks (with blue-ink transfers), stitch impressions, pine tar, compressed wood on the barrel, and moderate grain separation on the back of the barrel from repeated ball contact. Stamped on the knob are the model number ("DW20"), the batch code ("199"), and the year code ("95"). "WIN" is written on the knob in silver paint pen. 1995 marked Winfield's twenty-second and final season in the Majors, and his only season with Cleveland. Appearing in 46 games, Winfield finished the year with 2 home runs, 4 RBI, and a .191 batting average. Those numbers, of course, do not tell the story of Winfield's remarkable career. One of the best all-around players of his era, Winfield was a twelve-time All-Star and won seven Gold Glove Awards and five Silver Slugger Awards between the years 1979 and 1987. He also helped lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a World Championship in 1992. Winfield finished his career with 3,110 hits,  465 home runs, 1,833 RBI, and a .283 lifetime average. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2001, his first year of eligibility. This is an exceptional Winfield game bat, and most likely one of the last bats he ever used. On a scale of 1-10, we would grade the bat a "9."
