This classic tabletop
baseball machine dates from the 1920s and was manufactured by Atlas Indicator
Works of Chicago. Measuring 10" wide at the green wooden base (12" at
its widest point when the metal components are accounted for), 13" high
and 8" deep, it works by inserting a penny and pulling the bat lever to
release the ball. A metal abacus "scoreboard" on the front below the
playing field helps with keeping score. Wood, metal, and glass construction. The
game, which is in working condition, displays wear commensurate with its age
and former use, including both nicks and abrasions to the exterior and interior
“playing field.” Includes the key for the rear door. A fine example of this
attractive Atlas Baseball Machine and one that would be perfect for display in either
home or office.
