Joe Medwick and Ernie Lombardi had the only RBIs for the National League, with runs scored by Ott, McCormick, Hack, and Durocher. Cincinnati Reds pitcher Johnny Vander Meer had the win, and the New York Yankee Lefty Gomez took the loss. The 1938 game was only the sixth MLB All-Star game, as the All-Star games only began in 1933. The (6.25x9.25") program contains detailed rosters, and also has numerous stories and photos in its 24 pages. It contains a scorecard that is unscored. The signatures average 7/10. The program shows some fading of colors and some tiny paper loss and two rusty staples along the stapled edge, but overall, the program is in very good to excellent condition.
