Displayed is a personal photo of Hall of Fame Cleveland Indian pitcher Bob Feller from the 1930s. Feller grew up on a farm in Van Meter, Iowa, and much of his time out of school was spent doing farm chores and pitching to his father. Feller was 266-162 lifetime, and he won the pitching Triple Crown, an ERA title, was on the 1948 World Series Champion, and was an 8-time All-Star. He is regarded as one of the fastest pitchers of his era. The black and white photo shows Feller in a tie and jacket, so it might be a high school photo. Feller was a prodigy who first pitched in the Major leagues at age 17, so the photo also seems to depict Feller at close to his entry into the Big Leagues. The photo is a vintage original. It would grade a Type I by PSA. It is in its vintage, original frame, and the framed photo measures approximately 5.25x7". The photo is in good condition.
