Lot Description  

Pair of Boston Red Sox team-signed balls dating, respectively, from the 1959 and 1960 seasons. Please note: the Ted Williams signatures featured on the sweet spot of each ball are clubhouse examples. 1959. Nineteen blue-ink signatures (averaging 8/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball: Jensen (sweet spot), Kiely, Busby, White, Buddin, Geiger, Brewer, Baumann, Daley, Sullivan, Fornieles, Malzone, Stephens, Keough, Delock, Wertz, Casale, Gernert, and Jurges (coach). EX. 1960. Twenty-three blue-ink signatures (averaging 6/10) on an OAL (Cronin) ball, including Higgins (Mgr., sweet spot), Monbouquette (enhanced), Hardy, Nixon, Tasby, York, Runnels, Repulski, Hillman, Coughtry, Muffett, Wilson, Wertz, Casale, Gile, and Sullivan.
