Displayed is a great group of Cleveland Browns autographs, all Hall of Famers, on one Browns' helmet, a Riddell size Large. A number of these players, such as Otto Graham, Marion Motley, Dante Lavelli, and Lou Groza, joined the Browns when the team was in the All-American Football Conference. The Browns won every AAFC Championship there ever was (1946-1949). Then the Browns moved to the NFL, where hey won the Championship or were runner up, for the next six years. 1) Jim Brown, fullback. Brown played when a fullback was sometimes the primary runner on the team. When Brown retired, he held NFL records for carries, yards, and touchdowns. 2) Otto Graham, quarterback. he was a 3-time NFL Champion, and a 4-time AAFC (All American Football Conference) Champion. Graham was also a 3-time NFL MVP. 30 Paul Warfield, great wide receiver. 4) Larry Kelly, running back 5) Frank Gatski, stalwart center who never missed a game. 6) Lou Groza, kicker and offensive tackle. Groza played before the specialization of today, he was both an excellent tackle and the best kicker of his era. 7) Bobby Mitchell, running back and flanker. When he left the Browns and joined the Washington Redskins, Mitchell became the first African American player on the Redskins, the last NFL team to integrate. 8) Marion Motley, fullback and linebacker. A great two-way player, Motley dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage. The helmet is in excellent condition, and it carries the Riddell logo and the size sticker (7.5 -7.75), as well as a warning sticker intended to limit manufacturing liability. and the signatures, each in black marker, average 8/10. This signed helmet is a great and valuable tribute to Cleveland Browns' glory.
