Nolan Ryan not only threw baseballs very fast, at over 100 miles per hour, but he threw very hard for an extraordinarily long time. The Hall of Fame right-hander began in the Majors at age 19 with the New York Mets in 1966, and he ended his MLB career in 1993 at age 46. He won 324 games, and he is the all-time MLB leader in strikeouts with 5,714. Ryan won his 300th game on July 31,1990, when he was pitching for the Texas Rangers on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers at County Stadium. Ryan pitched 7.2 innings, giving up 3 runs, with only 1 run earned. He struck out eight and walked two and gave up six hits in the win. During the game, most of the crowd of 51,533 was cheering for Ryan, and after the Game the fans gave Ryan a standing ovation. Ryan pitched for 27 seasons in the Majors, and he threw for four teams: New York Mets, California Angels, Texas Rangers, and Houston Astros. He has an amazing total of seven no-hitters, the most in Major League history. handwritten on side in unknown hand "Game Ball 300th Win 7/31/92." The Official American League Baseball (Bobby Brown) is signed by Ryan, using blue ink, on the sweet spot. The ball shows appropriate use, with some smudges and minor stains, along with some toning. The ball from Ryan's 300th win, and his signature combine to make this item a valuable memento. PSA LOA.
