Offered is a 1992 World Series game worn jersey from Hall of Famer Dave Winfield, who hit a game-winning two-run double to clinch Game Six and the World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays in the team's 4-2 in games victory over the Atlanta Braves. Winfield was 41 years old when he hit that double, the third oldest player to have an extra-base hit in a World Series game - behind only Pete Rose and Enos Slaughter. For his career, Winfield played 22 Major League seasons, for six teams, with the right fielder hitting 465 homers. There is a World Series patch on right sleeve. It is tagged "32 92 2" in neck. Wilson size 46 tag in neck. Signed on front in black marker. Shows nice use with loose threads and wear to the end of sleeves. The back of the gray jersey shows "WINFIELD" in blue block letters and underneath the name is number"32," in blue letters with a white, center stripe. Winfield was a great athlete who remains the only athlete to have been professionally drafted in three major sports: baseball, basketball, and football. His uniform number "32" has been retired by the Blue Jays and to obtain this signed 1992 World Series game used jersey from a Hall of Famer who stroked the game-winning hit is a valuable addition to any collection.
