Displayed is the final Milwaukee Brewers jersey that Hall of Famer Paul Molitor ever wore. Molitor played 21 Major League seasons, his first 15 years with the Milwaukee Brewers, and the infielder went into the Hall of Fame as a Brewer. Paul finished his career with 3,319 hits, and he hit .306 lifetime, with 234 home runs. He was a 7-time All-Star, won four Silver Slugger Awards, and was the World Series MVP in 1993 when his Toronto Blue Jays won the World Championship. The jersey has a neck tag that reads, "92 Molitor 44." The jersey shows nice use. A smaller neck tag lists washing instructions and shows that the jersey is "100% Polyester." Tags on the lower right outside tail show: "Russell Athletic," Diamond Collectible size "44", "+1 " armhole opening", -1" end sleeve", and 1" Extra Sleeve Length." The jersey front shows "Milwaukee" in blue script with gold trim across the chest, and the numeral "4" in blue with gold trim. There is a small blue "R" affixed to the outside of the right sleeve. The back of the jersey at the top reads "MOLITOR" in blue block letters with gold trim. Under the name is the numeral "4," also in blue with gold trim. Molitor has signed and inscribed the jersey on the numeral 4 as "Game used last year as Brewer/ Paul Molitor HOF #4." On the right upper chest Molitor has signed and inscribed "Paul Molitor HOF 04 1992 'Game Used' Final Season Brewers." On the mid-to-lower right chest, Molitor has inscribed "This is my 1992 Milwaukee Brewers last 'Game Worn Road Jersey' used on 10/3 and 10/4, 1992. I collected my last hit - Double (2B) off Jeff Parrett at Oakland Alameda County Stadium [.] (It was my 36th Double in 1992). Paul Molitor HOF 2004." Also enclosed is a letter of Authenticity directly from Paul Molitor. There are three separate signatures from Molitor on this jersey and a large amount of handwritten inscription from him. The jersey comes directly from Paul Molitor.
