Presented is an interesting collection of game worn pants that were used by players in the Minnesota Twins organization, including game worn pants of Joe Mauer worn during the Twins 2010 season. Mauer was a catcher and first baseman who played 15 seasons in the Major Leagues, all with the Minnesota Twins. Mauer was a 6-time All-Star who hit .306 lifetime. He won three AL batting titles, three Gold Gloves and five Silver Slugger Awards. Mauer had a terrific season in 2009 when he led the AL with a .364 batting average, and also led the league in OBP (.444) and OPS (1.031). Mauer's pants have a waistband that reads "Mauer 7 36-48 38 OB '10" and the waistband also has a "Majestic" manufacturer's tag. A faded washing instruction tag shows the pants are: "100%" polyester. The Mauer pants show a large team repair in the right knee area. Also included are game worn Minnesota Twins pants from Max Kepler (2015). The white Kepler pants have a tag in the waistband that reads," KEPLER 67/ 36-40 38 OB 2015." The rear waistband also has a "Majestic" manufacturer's tag, and there is a small "Majestic" logo above the left rear pocket. The Kepler pants show a small stain just below the front waistband, and a small stain on the lower right rear pocket. On the Ben Revere gray pants (2012), waistband reads, "Revere 33-40 35 OB 72" and the pants have a "Majestic" manufacturer tag on the waistband. The left knee area has a rip, and the right pants leg shows a team repair. In addition, two pair of white pants with blue pinstripes, pants worn by Byron Baxton in the Arizona Fall League are also included. One pair of the Buxton pants has a tag in the waistband that reads, "Buxton 70 (replacing a crossed out number) 35-39 35 OB '13 AFL." The pants have a "Majestic" manufacturer's tag in the rear waistband. A small washing instruction tag on the inside front waistband that shows, "100%" polyester." The other Buxton pants have a waistband tag that reads, "Buxton 15 35-39 35 OB '13 AFL." There is a "Majestic" manufacturer's tag on the rear waistband, and a small "Majestic" logo above the left rear pocket. A few very small stains are below each rear pocket. There is also a Michael Sano game worn hat, most likely from the Twins spring training, in which the inside of the hat Sano has printed his last name, and his entire name as "Miguel Sano," and made a charming stick-figure, personal drawing, most likely representing himself. Sano is a power hitting infielder and outfielder who hit 34 home runs for Minnesota in 2019, and 34 homers in 2021. On the right outside of the hat is a tag reading, "EMO." On the left outside of the hat is the new Era logo. The hat has a rear back inside manufacturer's tag reading, "NEW ERA." Another tag under the manufacturer's tag reads, "100% polyester." A small tag on the right rear hatband shows the hat size as "7 and 3/8". There is a small tag on the left rear hatband that reads, "Major league Baseball Genuine Merchandise." The items are a nice catch for fans of the Twins, and the Joe Mauer pants will surely increase in value, since he appears to someday have an excellent chance at the Hall of Fame.
