Vintage photograph of Hall of Fame pitcher "Iron Man" Joe McGinnity as a member of the New York Giants. If this image looks familiar to collectors, it's because it was used on McGinnity's 1902-1911 W600 Sporting Life Cabinet, 1908 PC760 Rose Postcard, and 1905 PC782 Rotograph Postcard. A portion of a newspaper clipping, bearing the written date "4-3-43" appears on the reverse, along with a Chicago Daily News stamp and a "May 30 1973" date stamp. While this is clearly a vintage photo, a heavy paper backing is affixed to the reverse. As such, PSA will not accept it for evaluation, therefore no guarantees can be made regarding a specific Type designation. The photo (3.5x4.5") displays several small interior tears, including a few tiny areas of paper loss, as well as editorial outlining of McGinnity's image. Most likely trimmed to its current dimensions. In Good condition overall.
