Original glass plate negative capturing Hall of Fame catcher Roger Bresnahan as a member of the Chicago Cubs. Bresnahan is pictured posing for the camera on the sideline prior to a game. Bresnahan's name and team affiliation are written in black ink along the top border. Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here was worn by the Cubs only in 1913. Bresnahan played with the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals for most of his career, but his final three seasons (1913-1915) were spent with the Cubs.
