Original Type I photograph capturing Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Montgomery Clift, Eli Wallach, Arthur Miller, (writer) and Walter Huston (director) as they relax on the set of The Misfits in 1960. The film, released in 1961, turned out to be the last completed films for both Gable and Monroe. Gable died less than two weeks after the film was completed, and Monroe died one year later. The film was written by Arthur Miller, who was Monroe's husband at the time, but the two divorced shortly before the film's premier. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with several handwritten editorial notations. The photo (8x10") displays minor surface paper loss along the white border areas and light creasing. In Very Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
