Mario Lemieux was known as "Le Magnifique" (The Magnificent One), and his nickname was no exaggeration. The Hall of Fame center played in parts of 17 NHL seasons, all with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was a key member of two Stanley Cup winning teams as a player. In his career, he scored 690 goals and added 1,033 assists. After his first retirement as a player, he was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997.He became an owner of the Penguins in 1999 and won three more Stanley Cups as an owner. He remains the only person to have his name on the Stanley Cup as both a player and an owner. The jersey has "Set #1 2005-2006" tag in tail.
