If the men pictured in this first image - a signed newspaper photo - were all in their prime, they would make up the core of a world class team. In the first row are three former players who autographed the photo: George Sisler (HOF), a first baseman who played 15 seasons, mostly with the St. Louis Browns, and who batted .340 lifetime, twice hitting over .400; Charlie Keller, a New York Yankee outfielder who had a lifetime .928 OPS; Jimmy Foxx (HOF), who played many positions, mostly with the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox, and hit 534 home runs. In the second row are the autographed images of Hall of Fame players: Bill Terry, Joe Cronin, plus, Casey Stengel (signing twice) and Bill Mckechnie, in the Hall of Fame as managers, and an unidentified subject. In the second photo, an older Casey Stengel is depicted in the uniform of each of the four National League teams for which he played outfield: The Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers. The photos are encapsulated and graded PSA/DNA Auto Authentic.
