This collection of Super Bowl programs covers the first 50 Super Bowls. The programs are in EX-Mint condition. All were purchased at the Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs - Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl IV (1970) Program is Rare, as it is the Stadium Edition and featured only the Chiefs and Vikings. The Collectors' Edition of this program is more common, and it featured the final four teams in the playoffs. Modern pro history can easily be reviewed through this complete set of programs. The collection contains the program from the first NFL-AFL Championship Game, now known retroactively as Super Bowl I. It was played, January 15, 1967, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Much animosity existed between the two football leagues - remember, this was pre-merger. The Vince Lombardi coached Green Bay Packers defeated the Hank Stram coached Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. The third contest between the NFL and the AFL was the first to be called the Super Bowl at the time, and it is the first time that the word Super Bowl appears on an NFL program cover. It turned out that the 18-point underdog New York Jets, led by quarterback Joe Namath, defeated the Baltimore Colts. The Super Bowl program collection is complete through the Golden Anniversary of Super Bowls, Super Bowl 50. Interestingly, the NFL suspended use of Roman numerals for this game and instead used Arabic numerals to emphasize the NFL's 50th Anniversary. In this game, the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The programs offer a trip down football's Memory Lane. This wonderful collection is a find for any football fan.
