Offered is a great opportunity to obtain the autographed New York Knicks home jerseys for Willis Reed, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, and Earl "The Pearl" Monroe - all three Hall of Fame stars, all starting members of the Knicks' 1972-73 Championship team. In addition, Reed and Frazier were also starting players on the New York Knicks' only other NBA Champions, the 1969-70 club. Reed was a center and power forward whose most famous moment occurred before and during Game 7 of the 1969-70 NBA Finals. Reed had a leg injury and was doubtful for the final game at Madison Square Garden. When he surprisingly walked onto the floor for pre-game warm-ups, the arena erupted in sustained applause and Reed hit his first two shots of the game (his only points) to spark the Knicks to their first championship. Walt Frazier was a guard on both the 1970 and '73 Knicks Championship teams. In the Knicks Championship team in the 1970 Finals, Frazier played one of the most amazing Championship games in history, as in Game 7 against the Los Angeles Lakers he scored 36 points, with 7 rebounds, 19 assists, and 6 steals. Monroe joined the Knicks from the Baltimore Bullets and he teamed with Frazier in the backcourt for the 1973 Knick champions. Monroe's signature technique was to turn his back on his opponent and in an electrifying manner, dribble back and forth until he was free for a shot. On the Bullets, Monroe averaged well over 20 points a game, but he sacrificed some of his scoring and became more of a playmaker to help the Knicks to their 1973 championship. Monroe signed his size 42, #15 jersey as "Earl Monroe 'The Pearl,'" Willis Reed autographed his size 46, #19 jersey, and Walt Frazier signed his size 42, #10 jersey. Frazier may have also written in "Clyde," but the possible "Clyde" is blurred and indistinct. Each of the player's autographs is clearly written in what appears to be black Sharpie. Each jersey is tagged properly with year tags on front tail. Sand Knit Exclusive Knicks' tagging as well. Each jersey is in Excellent condition and shows use. All of the jerseys are signed in front. The jerseys provide a great visible connection to those famous Knick championship teams.
