Original Type I photo capturing the exterior of Ebbets Field in 1946. This is a wonderful scene picturing the stadium on a game day as fans crowd around the entrance and a vendor sells papers in the street. A large “V” (for Victory in World War II) is displayed on the front of the stadium above the main gate. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with a few handwritten notations (including the year “1946”), and a small inventory label. The photo (10x8”) displays a small area of surface paper loss near the base, light creasing, and few editorial markings. In Very Good condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
