Vintage photograph capturing Ty Cobb as a member of the Detroit Tigers. The image pictures Cobb striking a batting pose on the sideline prior to a game. Cobb’s name is lettered in white in the upper left corner. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Cobb’s name written in pencil. Despite the absence of a date, the uniform style shown here was used by the Tigers only in 1914. The photo (5x7”) remains in Excellent condition.
