Outstanding Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed baseball from the club's
memorable 1955 World Championship season. The official National League
(Giles) ball is signed in blue ink by the following 23 team members:
Robinson, Koufax, Campanella, Alston (Mgr., ss), Amoros (ss), Furillo,
Walker, Howell, Reese (clubhouse signature), Snider (clubhouse
signature), Labine, Spooner, Gilliam, Black, Wojey, Roebuck, Kellert,
Erskine, Zimmer, Shuba, Newcombe, Hamric, and Bessent. Signatures
average 7/10. Excellent to Mint condition overall. Pete Wojey did not
make the team in 1955, which indicates that this ball was most likely
signed during Spring Training. 1955 marked the Dodgers' only World
Championship season while in Brooklyn, making this one of the most
significant keepsakes from that memorable season. Full LOA from JSA.
