An interesting boxing scrapbook from the 1909-10 era featuring Jack Johnson, Gus Foster, and Ed Faust. The scrapbook contains mostly newspapers and other paper clippings and with a few other items. The most important item in the scrapbook is a signed telegraph contract for a boxing match. The contract has (4) signatures including Gus Foster, Ed Faust, Charles Martin, and EB Connolly. Martin and Connolly are assumed to be the associated fighter's managers or representatives. The scrapbook is rough and overall in Fair condition with foxing and several loose and detached pages and detached covers. The telegraph is affixed in the book in two pieces. It is overall EX with nice bold and legible signatures. A unique piece of boxing history.
