Of the 23 Perfect Games thrown in Major League history between 1880 and 2021, Don Larsen's outing in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series remains the only postseason version to this day. This Yankee Stadium Lower Stand ticket stub is from that October 8 effort, with the Yankees claiming a 2-0 victory. Encapsulated and graded GOOD 2 by PSA, the stub presents very nicely and the grade is hampered mostly by the fact that it was mis-torn, cutting off half of one of the sections that provide game details. Otherwise one small dot of discoloration near one corner of this 3.75x2.25" memento and a light crease through the middle are the only real blemishes. Larsen's victory was pivotal as the Yanks won the series in a blowout Game 7. Also in that same game, Mickey Mantle hit the 8th of his astounding record 18 World Series homers - even Babe Ruth himself only accounted for 15.
