Just over 30,000 fans packed into the months-old Shea Stadium on June 21, 1964, and witnessed history as Philadelphia Phillies starter Jim Bunning tossed a Perfect Game in the opener of a twin-bill. This 3.25x1.50" stub is from that very double-header and the grandstand General Admission ducat is in superb condition. Encapsulated by PSA with an EX-MT 6(MK) grade, it is neatly torn at the perforation with clear print and sharp corners; would clearly have earned a higher grade but the game number (33) has been circled in pen with "Perfect Game by Bunning" written in pen below. Only 16 perfectos have been tossed in the 57 years since Bunning's performance, the most recent coming in 2012.
