Historic ticket from Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Steve Carlton's 300th career victory on September 23, 1983, against the St. Louis Cardinals. Stub measures 3x1.5" and is from the Terrace Reserved section at Busch Stadium as the southpaw was up to his usual dominance, allowing two runs over 8.0 innings with 12 strikeouts in a 6-2 Phils victory. Carlton's stunning black Sharpie signature spans the front of the ticket in superb fashion with a perfect 10 grade from PSA, which has also encapsulated the ticket and issued an EX-MT 6 grade; while the ticket has sharp corners, there is some paper fraying at the edge where it wasn't quite torn neatly at the perforation. The Hall of Famer claimed four Cy Young awards and is considered one of the best left-handers in MLB history. Pop 2 with only two graded higher (PSA 7 and PSA 8).
