One-of-a-kind gigantic trophy issued to boxer Davey Moore upon capturing the Light (Junior) Middleweight Championship in an upset over Tadashi Mihara on February 2, 1982, in Tokyo. Despite being ranked 10th in the class by the WBA, Moore - who entered with an 8-0 record - scored a convincing 6th round knockout over the previously unbeaten (15-0) Mihara. Four-tiered trophy has wood base measuring 14x14x8", stands 60" overall to the top of the figural boxer. Plate is engraved in Japanese, detailing the fight and its combatants. Note that one eagle is missing and a few pieces are loose, overall EX condition.
