Rare, full ticket with amazing history in this Game 7 issue from the 1964 World Series. The St. Louis Cardinals captured the series with a 7-5 victory in the last postseason game played at the original Busch Stadium. That October 15 contest also featured a home run by Mickey Mantle, his third of the series to extend his mark to 18 total, breaking the record of 15 previously held by Babe Ruth. Untorn ticket looks to be EX condition with no creases and just a little softness at the corners; printing is bold and clear, bottom edge is straight while top edge has perforations from the adjoining ticket on the strip. In solid EX+ condition, a great deal of baseball lore is rolled into this one 6.75x2" ticket.
