Huge signed Mario Lemieux artwork presented to Super Mario during his illness "retirement" in 1993. Clever piece measures 36x48" and is framed by Koho Revolution shafts from sticks actually game used by Lemieux. The image itself appears to be a random assortment of squiggly lines up close but a few steps back reveals the superb detail that the artist achieved in the markers and water color compilation. It is signed by the artist to Mario and dated 1993 - presented during his bout with non-Hodgkins lymphoma; also signed and personalized by Mario with a huge autograph in black marker. Overall condition is VG-EX, the board on which the illustration is done has some visible dents along with a fold and stain to the bottom right corner, but combined with the used-sticks-frame and gritty overall nature of the composition and medium, those fit in perfectly in this truly Magnificent piece.
