One of the top names in sporting goods for over a century has lent its name to this 1926 Spalding Trophy. Base measures 7.5" in diameter and full award stands at 20" tall while weighing in at just over 10 pounds. Wood base is just over 5" tall, metal ball reading "Spalding Trophy" adds another 5", with the remainder going to the player swinging atop the ball. Plate on base is engraved, Championship - Central Baseball League - Season 1926 - Won by - LUDLOW. There is classic wear throughout and the bat has broken from the swinging player, but in both age and appearance this is a beautiful display piece.
