Original one-of-a-kind, from-the-camera glass plate negative shows Babe Ruth following through on one of his mighty swings. Unfortunately, his glance backward on this 4x5" classic indicates that this is one time the Sultan of Swat came up empty. Slight image loss is evident in a few small spots at the edges, not uncommon with this type of negative, but those are easily cropped as the lucky winner can make prints as clear as the day this was taken.
