Known as the "First Lady of Drag Racing," Shirley Muldowney was the first woman to receive a license from the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) to drive a Top Fuel dragster and is best remembered for winning the NHRA Top Fuel championship in 1977, 1980, and 1982 and won a total of 18 NHRA national events. From one of Muldowney's famous dragsters comes these two hot pink body panels. Nose piece is of fiberglass construction and features "Shirley" stenciling across the front in gold; a few chips and cracks in paint noticed. Aluminum side panel measures in at 45x23", reads "Shirley Muldowney" and features a "Winston" decal and even has a small photograph of a dog taped to the inside; perhaps the puppy was Shirley's good luck charm.
