Though Leland's has already broken two sales records for Tom Brady Championship Ticket rookie cards, this could be the rarest of the bunch and comes with an interesting backstory. Beckett encapsulated with a perfect 10 authentic autograph, but this bears one striking difference to the numbered /100 inserts of this type; this one actually has no number at all. Cool story behind the card: In the 1980s, our consignor served in the US Navy with Bill Dully, who became the President of Donruss, and became best friends. Fast forward to 2005 and Dully calls our consignor to give him tickets to Super Bowl XXXIX between the Patriots and Eagles. After the game, Dully told our consignor that if he sent him his ticket stubs, he would get them framed for him. Our consignor sent him the tickets and what he received back was a framed display of his tickets PLUS signed rookie cards of the two Quarterbacks Tom Brady and Donovan McNabb. Little did they know this card would end up to be so important, as this is a "Donruss Vault Copy" from the President of Donruss himself, missing a serial number since it was a backup just in case Donruss had to replace any that were damaged in packs. Card appears to be in excellent condition; in the past year, Leland's has sold two numbered copies of this card with each setting a record and totaling over $5 million dollars, securing both Brady's and Leland's connection as the premier forces in their respective fields.
