No telling of the 1980 USA Hockey "Miracle on Ice" could be complete with noting the heroism of Captain Mike Eruzione. It was his goal that clinched the seemingly-inconceivable win over the Soviet Union, though the USA actually did not secure the Gold Medal until defeating Finland two days later. These three pieces belonged to Eruzione and were part of the US Olympic Team's official garb for those Lake Placid Olympics. 1) Parka with Levi's manufacturer's patch at right chest, USA and 1980 Olympic Team patches at left. Levi size L tag is in collar. 2) Red overalls with USA 1980 logo at center, with Levi's 1980 USA Olympic Games and Reg L tagging in interior collar. 3) Knit cap with USA 1980 logo and Levi's tag. All pieces exhibit wear but no damage. These items came from Eruzione and lot includes his LOA.
