Circa early 1920s original, one of a kind, from the camera negative provides a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of the work of master illusionist and escape artist Harry Houdini. Cellulose negative measures 7.5x9.5" and shows Houdini in his shop working on props with items such as rope and skulls in the background, clearly planning his next seemingly-impossible feat. "Houdini" is written into the bottom corner of the negative.
