Perhaps not a household name, Bill Plummer was a solid Major League catcher who earned four National League pennants and a pair of World Series rings as Johnny Bench's understudy on the 1970s Big Red Machine Cincinnati Reds. From the collection of longtime Reds clubhouse manager Bernie Stowe, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 80.
