Great content and history in this Official American League (Harridge) ball, signed at a USO event in France during World War II. Originating from the collection of WWII service member Colonel Schroeder and inscribed to his son, Chic, signatures with inscriptions include: Mel Ott, Frank Frisch, Bucky Walters, Dutch Leonard, and writer J. Roy Stockton. The stampings are so bold that there is actually minor bleeding from the blue ink, signatures are beautiful 9/10 examples with nice personalizations, and the ball is in stellar EX-MT condition; comes with original Reach box. Additional offerings from Colonel Schroeder's collection are available in this auction.
