As collectors start staking their claim to memorabilia from one of the greatest performers in sports history, it's worth noting that Tom Brady game used memorabilia rarely comes up for auction, let alone a pair of photo-matched cleats as offered here. Dating from Tom's 2018 Super Bowl Championship year, these cleats were worn by the GOAT himself on October 14th 2018 in his FIRST EVER matchup against Patrick Mahomes! The Patriots came out victorious thanks to Brady's 340 passing yard and two touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) capped off by Stephen Gostkowski's game winning 28-yard field goal as time expired. These bright red customized Under Armour TB12 kicks are size 13 and show tremendous use with dirt throughout, scuffs, and creases. Both are signed beautifully and very legibly which is incredibly rare, so it is obvious that he was gifting them to someone close, including a "Go Pats" inscription on each. Brady did, in fact, gift them to standout defensive brother tandem and teammates Devin & Jason McCourty to be sold at their "Tackle Sickle Cell Casino Night" fundraiser on October 22nd, 2018; shown is a copy of the LOA that originally came with the cleats, but does not come with this lot. Again, it is hard to overstate the current rarity of Brady game-used gear, and this sparkling set of footwear will literally give the winning bidder the chance to walk in the shoes of greatness.
