Master illusionist Harry Houdini is captured in one of his trademark predicaments in this original, from-the-camera, one of a kind glass plate negative. From one of his stunts held near New York City in the 1910s, Houdini is depicted upside down with hands bound by ropes and straight jacket, poised for another miraculous escape. Negative measures 7x5" and was taken by a Brown Brothers photographer as part of their immense collection.
