TALK ABOUT RARE - we doubt many people have ever seen this rare beauty of a box, let alone one still containing many of the original packs! That's right, 96 (of the 120) 1¢ packs are still inside this box of 'Jets, Rockets and Spacemen' - a veritable time capsule from Bowman from 1951.  Kids loved this 108-card issue - futuristic drawings of fantastic creatures from other worlds, all interacting with space travelers from planet Earth, flying around in Flash Gordon-type rocketships!  While the condition of packs varies (as there is some moisture damage from 70 years of storage), some are in fairly nice shape and rate around EX, while others drop as low as Poor but most are in between. Note that because of the moisture damage, there is some discoloration and wear to wrappers, but still... 96 packs of a next-to-impossible issue to locate!

The display box itself is extremely rare and beautiful!  It presents as EX but upon close inspection there is some restoration to the corners and some of the paper. Note however that the restoration was meticulously done.
